RESTORE

  • HYALASE® is an enzyme containing Hyaluronidase, which breaks down Hyaluronic Acid, the main component of Dermal Filler. By injecting HYALASE®, it dissolves the filler, helping restore the face to its pre-filler appearance.

  • RESTORE is for patients dissatisfied with prior treatments, experiencing complications, needing corrections, preparing for new treatment, or choosing to return to a more natural state.

  • HYALASE® effectively dissolves Dermal Filler, including naturally occurring Hyaluronic Acid, upon contact. While this may initially cause a more noticeable change in appearance, the body gradually replenishes its natural Hyaluronic Acid over two weeks. It's important to note that injected Dermal Filler does not regenerate.

  • We recommend waiting a minimum of two weeks before considering any additional injections of Dermal Filler or Botox into the face. This allows ample time for HYALASE® to take effect and for the final result to be fully apparent.

  • The effects of Dermal Filler (Hyaluronic Acid) can last up to 12 months. This depends on the density and quantity of the dermal filler used, patient metabolism and patient lifestyle factors. With repeated treatments, the effects can sometimes last longer.

  • OUTCOME

  • PAIN

    None - Minimal.

    We apply local anaesthetic cream to areas being treated to reduce pain to a bare minimum. Please note due to anatomical variations, some parts of the face can be more sore than others.

  • BEFORE CARE

    Avoid makeup, creams or other products on areas being treated.

    To reduce the risk of bruising, avoid Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) (Ibuprofen, Naproxen etc.) for 24 hours prior to your procedure.

    If you are on other blood thinning medications like Aspirin, Warfarin, or Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) (Rivaroxiban, Apixaban etc.) kindly contact us prior to your consultation to discuss the risks.

  • EFFECTS

    Immediate effects.

    2 weeks: full effects.

  • AFTERCARE

    4 hours: avoid makeup, creams, other products or touching the area to limit the risk of infection.

    24 hours: avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise and Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) (Ibuprofen, Naproxen etc.).

    24/7: Patients will have round-the-clock access to the Kai Team via text and email for urgent concerns.

  • DOWNTIME

    Day procedure - can return to normal life after the procedure.

  • FOLLOW UP

    2 weeks: appointment to address any concerns, assess outcomes and discuss further treatment.

  • DO NOT USE HYALASE IF:

    • Allergy to Hyaluronidase

    In the majority of people Hyaluronidase is incredibly safe and the benefits (especially in emergency situations) outweighs the risks. We do a skin test for all patient prior to administering it. In the event of an allergic reaction to the drug, our highly experienced staff will adeptly manage the situation. Additionally, leveraging our extensive surgical history, we ensure appropriate referral to the relevant specialists to effectively address your needs.

    If the initial treatment was administered at another clinic, we recommend promptly contacting your previous clinic for immediate assistance. We do not handle emergency complications arising from procedures performed at other clinics.

    Alternatively, if the initial treatment was conducted at Kai Clinic, we urge you to contact us urgently via telephone rather than waiting for an online booking to be processed. Your prompt communication will enable us to address your concerns promptly and effectively. We will dissolves this free of charge.
